By bike
To get to Sainte Marie from the north of the Pyrénées Orientales, particularly Le Barcares, or from the south (Spain), you can takeEuroVelo 8, also known as "La Méditérranée à vélo".
Once there, you'll find 2 bike paths that take you to the beach or the village (an underground passage takes you from the beach to the village).
By car
Arriving on theA9 freeway (La Languedocienne) - take exit 41 towards Canet / Le Barcares, then follow the D81 towards Sainte Marie la Mer.

By train
The Perpignan train station is 15 kilometers from Sainte Marie la Mer.
There are daily connections to France and Europe.

A new service!
The Sainte Marie la Mer Tourist Office now sells bus tickets all year round. It's also possible to top up your monthly or annual Sankéo subscription (no subscription, top-up only).

From July 6 to September 1, an inter-beach shuttle will be available from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., enabling you to visit or attend the festivities at the seaside resorts of Canet, Sainte Marie la Mer, Torreilles and Barcarès.

Sud de France Perpignan airport is 25 kilometers from Sainte Marie la Mer, and welcomes national and international flights.
To reach the seaside resort by bus with Sankéo, take line 6 Aéroport - Gare TGV (Perpignan) then line 5 towards Sainte Marie la Mer.
